So… what actually is Reformer Pilates?

It's a low-impact, full-body workout done on a piece of equipment called a reformer. Looks a bit intimidating at first, but it's actually very clever. Springs do the resistance, the carriage glides, and the whole thing supports your body as you move rather than fighting against it.

Translation: you'll work harder than you think, feel taller afterwards, and probably leave quietly impressed with yourself.

  • Strength without strain
  • Better posture, more mobility
  • Joint-friendly, no jumping around
  • Clear instruction informed by physiotherapy
  • A calm studio where no one's judging

A really great 45-minute beginners/intermediate Pilates workout that focused on core strength and injury prevention. Well planned, well cued, modifications for all levels. The pacing felt powerful yet measured.

Often, yes. Reformer Pilates is low-impact and highly adaptable, and the studio is physio-owned, so your instructor will help you work safely. Just let them know on arrival. If you're unsure, drop us an email and we'll happily chat first.
